The Republican Party that has evolved first under Scott Walker in Wisconsin then Trump in 2016 is no longer the party you grew up voting for, if you voted Republican. It no longer stands for family values nor fiscal responsibility. It now stands for tearing down democracy at all costs, abdicating leadership to direct blame, gaining power, and sowing division.

Yes the Democrats are not saints by a long shot, and have disappointed me immensely over the years, but the huge pain we are experiencing now in Wisconsin is mainly due to the chaos Trump, Vos, and Swearingen have sown.

To argue that point is to purposefully not be listening, reading, or seeing.
