Scenes like these will lead this country into civil war. Normalization of racism, hate speech, corruption, and gaslighting are tearing this country apart. How to solve it?

Regulate social media so professional adversarial, and often foreign, propaganda doesn’t sow seeds of hatred among neighbors, creating echo chambers that fuel racism.

Regulate all news media so that there are huge financial punishments for obfuscating truth.

Get rid of the electoral college and ban gerrymandering which gives power to the minority, which gives elected officials, and their appointees, no fear of retribution if they do wrong.

Reform campaign finance to limit government corruption, so that you don’t have a Republican US Senate that cares more about staying in the senate than standing up to a racist monster who champions other racist monsters.

There are probably 1000 other ways to help stop the scene witnessed in this video, but these are the ones that hit me first.

And for the record, unless there’s something on this video that I don’t understand, that cop needs to be in prison.
